My Approach

Over decades of practice, I’ve trained in a range of evidence-informed, body-centered, and compassionate approaches to help clients heal from trauma, reduce stress, and reconnect with their inner strength. My work is personalized, trauma-informed, and always centered on your goals and comfort.

Here are the primary methods I draw from:

  • Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT): A gentle, energy-based approach that helps release trauma stored in the body.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Supports healing by engaging with the different “parts” of yourself with compassion and curiosity.

  • Polyvagal-Informed Somatic Therapy: Helps you regulate your nervous system and feel more grounded, safe, and connected.

  • Expressive Arts Therapy: Uses creativity—like drawing, movement, and writing—as tools for emotional healing and nervous system regulation.

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR): Simple, evidence-based practices to calm the mind and body.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or “Tapping”): A mind-body technique that combines tapping on acupressure points with guided affirmations to reduce emotional stress.

  • Clinical Hypnosis: A safe, focused approach that supports relaxation, pain relief, sleep improvement, and stress management.

  • Trauma Healing Inspired by The Body Keeps the Score: Integrating insights from leading trauma researcher Dr. Bessel van der Kolk to support deep healing.

  • Adlerian Psychotherapy: A strengths-based, holistic approach that supports your sense of purpose, belonging, and well-being.

I also occasionally incorporate elements of:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Gestalt Therapy and Psychodrama

  • Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP)

Each session is guided by your unique needs. Whether you're seeking calm, clarity, or deeper healing, I’ll meet you with tools that fit—and care that honors your story.
