What Is Clinical Hypnosis?

Let’s clear this up first: clinical hypnosis is NOT like entertainment at the fair. You won’t bark like a dog, cluck like a chicken, or do anything you would not normally do.

Clinical hypnosis is a safe, calming, and evidence-based therapeutic tool for healing. It is used to access the subconscious mind—the part of you that stores habits, emotions, and patterns—so you can make meaningful, lasting change. You are always aware, always in control, and always able to stop at any time.

How It Works

During a hypnosis session, you will be gently guided into a state of deep relaxation and focused awareness. In this calm, quiet space, your mind becomes more open to healing suggestions, stress relief, or symptom reduction—depending on your goals.

Every session is customized for you. Most people find hypnosis deeply relaxing and helpful, often noticing progress within just 1–3 sessions.

You can also request a recording to support continued progress at home.

Common Questions

Will I lose control or say something I don’t want to?
No. You remain in control the entire time. You won’t say or do anything you wouldn’t feel comfortable doing or discussing when fully awake.

Will I remember what happens?
Yes. You’ll remember everything, and can also request a recording of your session.

What if I can’t be hypnotized?
Very few people can’t enter a hypnotic trance. Even if you don’t, you’ll still benefit from a deeply calming experience.
